About the material

Neutral stone does not have to be dull. Here grey carries a layered texture that keeps the space alive for years.

Ankara is the central, neutrally grey tone of the Slate collection. A matte slate surface with discreet dynamics easily connects wood, metal, textiles and other stone surfaces without needing to attract attention through colour.

On large floors and walls it stays current because character comes from texture, not from a fashionable tone. With Alaska it gains more light; with Vulcano more contrast. Unlike Fokos Piombo, which moves toward a wider earthy spectrum with a calmer structure, Ankara stays dedicated to layered slate texture with somewhat more readable surface dynamics.

When an interior needs a stone base that connects a palette rather than defines it, Ankara is the safest choice in the collection.
