About the material

A light stone surface does not have to be cold and smooth. Here slate texture gives depth without veins or gloss.

Alaska is the lightest tone in the Slate collection. A white base with a subtle, irregular slate-stone pattern keeps the space open but not sterile: the layered matte texture becomes visible up close and under side light.

It comes through most clearly on larger walls and floors where brightness is needed without marble drama. With wood, textiles and darker details it stays a calm base. Unlike Fokos Talco, which moves toward calmer, more earthy neutrality, Alaska stays closer to white stone with a more expressive layered slate structure.

When white marble feels too representative and an ordinary white slab too flat, Alaska is a balanced choice in the collection.
