Noce

Noce uses the warmth of wood as its main quality. Its value is not in sharp contrast or a decorative effect, but in the rich grain texture and the sense of a material shaped by water and time, as with Venetian bricole.

Unlike dark stone or industrial surfaces that often create distance, Noce builds a sense of familiarity. That is why it is often chosen on elements with an important role: kitchens, wall cladding, wardrobes, custom furniture. Unlike Ki No Bi Kuri or Sugi, here the structure is more expressive and rustic, with more visible traces of ageing.

When you want an interior to feel warmer, more connected and less formal, Noce is a clearer choice than quieter Japanese readings of wood.
