About the material

A simple form needs a material that holds mass on the edge as well, not only on the face of the slab.

Cardoso Nero builds presence through dark mass, not through pattern. On a large island, a monolithic washbasin or a staircase, the surface and edge keep the same dark stone structure, so the element looks complete from every angle.

IN-Side technology makes sense here where the slab is cut, rounded or profiled. Unlike I Naturali dark stones, where the difference between face and core shows at the first cut, Cardoso Nero keeps the same tone through the full thickness.

With light wood, concrete or warm lighting, the dark stone stays architectural, without a luxury marble effect.
