About the material

A dark surface does not have to be flat and solid-coloured to leave an impression. Oxidation gives it a depth that ordinary black cladding lacks.

Ossido Nero does not build strength through minimalism, but through layers of oxidation that stop the material from reading as fully flat. The tone shifts with light and viewing angle, so even a smaller surface stays present in the space.

It is most often chosen for one clear zone: a wall, an island, a reception desk or a facade detail. Unlike Collection Nero Assoluto, here texture and oxidation work instead of fully flat black.

Ossido Nero is more concentrated than Oxide Nero: the effect is stronger and more direct in this three-material palette. When you need a dark material with material character, not a marble pattern or high gloss, this is the most direct choice in the collection.
