When metal needs a wider tone range, not one focus

If you want metal that looks as if it has already passed through time, and you need more than one or two tones, Oxide is there for that. The collection follows the moment of oxidation: the surface already has richness of colour, before it loses visual energy.

Five materials (Avorio, Bianco, Moro, Nero and Perla) run from lighter and warmer to darker and heavier. Each builds a different chromatic depth, so Oxide is chosen when a metallic character needs to cover several surfaces or different zones in the same project.

About the collection

Oxide collection: metal in the aging process

Metals change constantly under air, moisture and time. Layers of colour and texture form on the surface and give the material an identity completely different from raw metal.

Oxide starts from that moment of transformation. Instead of clean, new metal, it carries the phase in which oxidation already develops depth of tone, but before the surface loses strength.

Unlike Ossido, which stays concentrated on three materials and the effect of patina and verdigris, Oxide has a wider range of five materials and stronger chromatic depth. Unlike Filo, which changes look through light reflection without association to aging, Oxide builds character through the mark of time on metal.

The material is most often chosen for projects where metal should be expressive, not discreet: facades, wall cladding, furniture elements. Availability by thickness and finish is checked on each material page.
